Family owned and located in the heart of Midland Park, NJ; The Hot Dog Caboose has been serving up all-beef Sabrett dogs since July 5th, 2006. 

     The owner, Carol Laube (pictured left) has dedicated her career to not only the food industry but to the people of Midland Park and surrounding neighborhoods.  She is heavily involved with many philanthropic organizations such as Toys for Tots where she holds an annual drive each holiday season at the Caboose.  Her children have all also followed in her philanthropic footsteps by serving their local communities; her two sons as fire fighters and her daughter as a police officer.

     The food, the friendly service, and the nostalgia of the 100-year-old caboose are what attract people.  However, the Hot Dog Caboose not only entices human guests, but furry four-legged ones too!  The Caboose is a pet-friendly establishment and visitors can dine with their furry best friend at one of the outdoor tables. While ‘Fido’ enjoys a nap in the shade or juicy Sabrett guests can enjoy tasty homemade "fire in the caboose chili" or a hot dog smothered in their choice of toppings, and finish off their meal with refreshing ice cream. 

     The Caboose is open weekdays from 11am to 4pm, and weekends from 11am to 4pm.
